ArtRage 5 is a full featured digital painting program for Windows and macOS that brings together the convenience of digital editing tools, the realism of traditional paint texture and colors and the fun of creating art in one easy to use, professional level, program. About ArtRage

Simple, stylish, powerful painting with natural tools in a creative environment. Paint with thick smeared oils, sketch with pencils, airbrush in soft features over masks or along rulers. Decorate with gold leaf, silve, and other metallic colors. This download is licensed as freeware for the Windows (32-bit and 64-bit) operating system/platform with certain restrictions based on its EULA. ArtRage 5.0.6 is available to all software users as a free download for Windows.

We tested the file install_artrage_studiopro_demo.exe with 29 antivirus programs and it turned out 100% clean. It's good practice to test any downloads from the Internet with trustworthy antivirus software.

Older versions of Windows often have trouble running modern software and thus ArtRage may run into errors if you're running something like Windows XP. Conversely, much older software that hasn't been updated in years may run into errors while running on newer operating systems like Windows 10. You can always try running older programs in compatibility mode.

Officially supported operating systems include 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows 10, Windows 8 and Windows 7.

The current version of ArtRage is 5.0.6 and is the latest version since we last checked. This is the full offline installer setup file for PC. This site has hosted other versions of it in the past such as 5.0.3, 4.5.2, 4.0.3, 3.5 and 2.5. At the moment, only the latest version is available.

ArtRage supports over 9 common image formats including BLEND, BMP, JPG, MPO, PLY, PNG, PSD, RAW and TIFF.

Now that I've had some time to play with ArtRage 5, I felt it was time to share with you some of the things I've learned. And we're gonna start with what I feel is probably one of the strongest additions to ArtRage this time around. In Photoshop I would often create my own brushes or download free brushes to create looks that I wanted on a particular piece. You could sort of do the same in ArtRage with the Sticker Spray, but it was a lot less intuitive and felt a whole lot different than the way that Photoshop worked.

The Brush Designer changes all that.

Now you have the ability to create brushes in a similar manner to Photoshop. And it feels every bit as powerful.

The first video takes you into the Brush Head settings. You have to imagine your brush with a tip and with texture. The tip – the shape – has a variety of settings that you control to get the exact feel that you want. So let's take a look at that now!
